The Stream: Frank Ocean finally debuts a sophomore album, Trap dominated the Billboard Charts.

Billboard 200 Charts: New Albums: After teasing us for the last four years, Frank Ocean finally released his sophomore album Blonde, the highly anticipated album four years in the making has had an overwhelming amount of success in the past month Blonde ranked No.1 on the Billboard 200's chart the first week it was released (Aug.20th) and still remains relevant it's 4th week, ranked at No.10 following Beyonce's Lemonade. Ocean currently has 12 songs on the Billboard R&B charts. There's no doubt 2016 has been a big year for Hip-Hop and R&B with Drake and Travis Scott both dominating the Billboard 200 charts in the second week of September, Usher's release of a new album Hard to Love coming out on Sept.20th the industry is keeping audiences jamming.

Travis Scott's new album, Trap Bird Sings McKnight was predicted to be No.1 prior to it's release on Sept.12th according to HNHH, this week Scott's album ranks No.1 with a sale record of approximately 88,000 album equivalent units, which includes streaming and 53,000 in traditional album sales. Trap Bird Signs McKnight features a handful of collabs including Kendrick Lamar, Andre 3000, 21 Savage, Bryson Tiller, Kid Cudi and many more. 

Drake has managed to come out with hit after hit, making him the no.1 most played artist on Spotify, with 38,097,416 monthly listeners which is probably why he stays on the Billboard hot 200's chart so often. Drake's most recently released album Views ranks no.3 on the chart right now and spent a whopping 12 weeks as No.1 with two singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, One Dance, and Too Good Feat. Rihanna.

As for Queen B herself, Beyonce is making sure her beehive stays hydrated with plenty of Lemonade her latest album ranks at No.9 on the Billboard 200 charts with twelve songs on the chart for two consecutive weeks, that's the whole album. Rihanna also having a good year, with her album Anti ranked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 chart and her single Needed Me ranked No.9 on the Hot 100 chart.
